Do you feel passionate about supporting survivors and ending sexual violence? RVAP is looking for volunteers and we would love if you applied to volunteer with us! We are conducting volunteer interviews until September 9th.

RVAP is hosting an art show centered on the experiences of Iowa based LGTBQIA Latine/x/o/a survivors. Any medium is acceptable. Artists should choose one or more of the following topics to focus on:

The Rape Victim Advocacy Program and All The Way Up Studio are proud to partner up during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to provide a free dance workshop for survivors. Participants will have the chance to reconnect with their bodies and gain confidence through movement and dance. They will also learn how to integrate the use of props, like chairs and bandanas, in their movement (these items will be provided by the studio). No previous dance experience is required.

Dates: April 4, 11, 18, 25. 7pm-8:15pm, at RVAP 108 River St

Moving Toward Wholeness is a guided dance/movement experiential four-week series for those who have experienced trauma and are looking for a trauma-informed caring space to explore their ongoing healing. Participants will use free-form dance/movement, a modality that encourages following one’s personal body rhythms (not steps to a routine), with a reflective inward focus to explore key topics of Safety, Resilience, Transformation, and Integration.

Participants will learn to make various coffee drinks, including macchiatos and lattes, and have a space to connect with other survivors.
